Bands 1- 4 of The Longman Book Project for Key Stage 1 / P1-3 provide a unique cluster approach - ideal for group reading. A cluster comprises a variety of books about a common theme or character, by a single author and illustrator. Each cluster contains one Big Book for shared reading, a smaller version of the Big Book and 'Read-on' books for guided and independent reading, accompanied by reading and writing activities for the pupils. |
